extinguishing agent used, firemen may choose different types of nozzles to fight the fire
effectively and give the water or addictive agent the optimum power to reach and to cover
the fire effectively in the minimum time possible. Most types are of the Jet-Spray
Shut-Off configuration allowing the fireman to control the flow and direction of the
stream. |

apparel consists of jackets, trousers, boots, gloves, helmet, and other personal
protective equipment. The apparel allows the firemen to withstand the heat of fire,
allowing them to get closer to the source of the fire flames and bring it under control.
Self contained breathing apparatus are used in extreme smoke conditions and rescue
operations. |
